80's Halloween Party Uniondale Concert reviews
Pixies blend new with old in an incredible show
The National in Richmond was packed on Wednesday night as a bi-generational crowd of Gen-X and Gen-Y'ers came to see the 80's Halloween Party. Classic form, Black, Joey, Dave and (now) Paz played a 30 song set in the intimate venue. The sound production was terrific - clear, powerful, and full - giving them the space to express the full dynamic range of their catalogue. Seamlessly interwoven were songs from their new EPs like Indie Cindy and Greens & Blues with classics like Gouge Away and Where Is My Mind. Completing their North American tour through February, the rest of the country are in for a treat.
